Join as an Intern
Through a partnership with participating universities and colleges and other institutions of learning, the BRCAC may serve as a site for multidisciplinary training in mental health practice.
Some notable examples of the types of training interns may receive are: use of evidence based interventions in practice with individuals, groups and families, marketing and outreach, and child abuse prevention policy and advocacy.
While interns come from many walks of life and offer varying gifts and contributions.
All interns must:
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Be empathetic and sensitive to children and their family members
- Successfully complete an interview, extensive background check, reference check and fingerprinting
Interns who are engaged in specific areas such as prevention and education may have additional requirements and will also be provided extensive training in order to work in their respective area.
