Licensed Child and Family Therapist (LMSW LCSW)
About the Position: The Child and Family Therapist provides behavioral health services for a caseload of young children ranging in age from 3-18, who have experienced trauma. Clients will be seen in person at our Center. The therapist provides both individual and group services. The hours and schedule are coordinated with the Clinical Director, who is the therapist’s direct supervisor.

Responsibilities:
- Provides efficient and effective trauma-focused behavioral health services in a manner that advances the mission of BRCAC.
- Works with other service component team members to integrate behavioral health services throughout the facility. Participates in MDT meetings as needed.
- Supervises interns as a task supervisor when needed.
- Builds relationships with other community behavioral health providers to enhance and grow BRCAC and its behavioral health program.
- Provide Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) for children (ages 3-18) maintaining a caseload of 25-35 children (full-time position).
- Keep electronic case files up to date.
Professional Qualifications/Requirements:
- Master’s Degree in Social Work required.
- Two years’ work experience in the pediatric behavioral health field-trauma experience preferred.
- Experience and knowledge of trauma-focused interventions and modalities, including Trauma-Focused CBT or EMDR.
- Knowledge of or familiarity with criminal, social and mental services is a plus
- LCSW perferred.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Computer skills: Microsoft Office, Therapy Notes.
- Must be willing to respond to crisis as needed.

Interns who are engaged in specific areas such as prevention and education may have additional requirements and will also be provided extensive training in order to work in their respective area.
